A portfolio website and custom talent management platform for Nova Han Productions. I helped bring years of immersive creative work into a clear visual presentation, alongside tools and automations that support Nova and the people she works with every day.
Nova Han's work spans immersive environments, performance, and creative direction across years of festivals and events, including Electric Forest, Coachella, Super Bowl activations, and work with The String Cheese Incident. I wanted the website to give that range of work the space and attention it deserves.
Digging through Nova's archive was one of my favorite parts of the project. Seeing so many years of her work together was inspiring, and helped me understand her at a deeper creative level. The challenge was to communicate that breadth and evoke some of the feeling of the experiences themselves, without overwhelming visitors with everything at once.
I worked on both sides of that challenge: a public website that makes the work easy to explore, and an internal platform that helps organize talent, portfolio information, and ongoing relationships.
We substantially simplified the interface and made Nova's offering clearer, allowing the images and videos to speak for themselves. Organizing more than 1,600 event photos meant making thoughtful choices about what to show together and how visitors could move through the archive at their own pace.
The result is a clearer way to experience Nova's body of work. Visitors can get a sense of her creative range, explore individual projects, and understand what she offers without being presented with the whole archive at once.

Behind the public portfolio, I built a platform that lets Nova and her team search, contact, organize, track, and connect performers. Applications, portfolio information, contracts, and communication come together in one place.
The work also needed to fit the tools Nova already enjoys using. Alongside the dashboard, an automatically updating Google Sheet keeps information available in a familiar format she uses every day.
Hundreds of automations have been running reliably for years, organizing talent, portfolio information, and the people Nova works with. That lasting, everyday usefulness is one of the quieter parts of this project that I'm proud of.

The creative and operational work came from the same starting point: understanding how Nova works and what matters to her. On the website, that meant simplifying the presentation so her creative work could carry the experience. Behind the scenes, it meant building useful tools that fit her day-to-day routines.
I'm especially proud of helping showcase such a wide-ranging body of work, and of building systems that have continued to be useful long after launch.
